Representatives will discuss the Celanese Technology & Innovation
Leadership Program (TILP). TILP is a rotational leadership program that
provides candidates with an opportunity for exposure to multiple businesses and
R&D groups. Candidates receive challenging assignments, continuous
engagement, and accelerated growth and development in a global organization.

Job Overview
Primary
Responsibilities:
Ø Customer focused
development of new materials, process technology and applications by utilizing
synthesis, process technology development and scale-up, product formulation,
compounding & characterization techniques
Ø Leverage first principles
and technical creativity to propose, design, and perform studies aimed at the
development of next generation, high performance products, processes and
applications.
Ø Utilize Design for Six
Sigma stage gate process for new product development in collaboration with cross-functional
teams
Ø Provide innovative
solutions for complex industrial technical problems in a timely manner
Qualifications:
Ø MS/PhD in Polymer
Science/Materials Science/Chemical Engineering/Chemistry
Ø Leadership, drive,
initiative, technical depth & breadth, mobility, flexibility and excellent
communication skills are a must for this position
Ø Hands-on, self-starter,
goal-oriented individual with drive for solving problems and finding solutions
to complex problems in a timely manner
Ø Project management skills
Ø Customer focused, detail
oriented and data driven
Ø Technical and analytical
skills needed to scale-up new innovations to pilot- and commercial-scale
production
Ø Good interpersonal skills

Technology & Innovation Leadership Program offers three rotations generally
in eight month intervals at one of these R&D locations:

Upon completion of the program,
team members continue to grow and build on their capabilities and skill sets by
joining one of Celanese’s operating businesses.
