The Department of Chemistry at Salisbury University is accepting applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level.
Area of Specialization: Analytical Chemistry.
Primary Job Duties/Responsibilities: The primary teaching responsibilities are in analytical chemistry, instrumental analysis, general chemistry, and general education courses. Engagement in scholarly professional activities; development of a research program amenable to undergraduate participation; and participation in departmental, university and other service are expected. Candidates are expected to use effective teaching and classroom management strategies which enhance the success of diverse learners. Candidates are expected to demonstrate a commitment to teaching, scholarship, and service at the undergraduate level.
Minimum Qualifications: A Ph.D. in Chemistry with demonstrated expertise in analytical chemistry, evidence of teaching experience and potential for excellence in teaching and research.
